BOY SCOUTS

St. Joan of Arc Parish sponsors Boy Scout Troop 312 which has been chartered for over 50 years.  Scouting is open to boys between 11 and 18 years of age.  Camping, canoeing and hiking are favorite activities of this group.  Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at Apache Lodge in Larayo Park.  Also available is Cub Scout Pack 312, open to boys in first through fifth grades.  Activities include family camping, teh Pinewood Derby and much more.

CATHOLIC YOUTH ORGANIZATION (CYO)/YOUTH MINISTRY

CYO is a response of the Church to the needs of the youth.  The organization provides a means for sharing of the unique gifts of the youth with the whole community.  Activities deal with the spiritual, cultural, apostolic, service, leadership, social and recreational needs of the youth.  Membership in this most active group is open to parishioners who are at least 13 years old (and in the eighth grade) and not older than 21.  The organization is supervised by a full-time director.  Meetings are held each Sunday after the 5:30 PM Mass in the Family Life Center.

FAMILY LIFE COMMITTEE

Working with the Archdiocesan Family Life Apostolate, this committee oversees all family life programs in the parish, while focusing on marriage, parenting and Natural Family Planning. "Familia" is a program widely used throughout the country that builds family strengths and values through the Gospel and Church doctrine.

MEN'S LENTEN PRAYER BREAKFAST

This group meets on Saturdays during Lent, after 7:30 AM Mass in the Family Life Center. Fellowship includes breakfast and Gospel reflection.
